Quixel Derelict Corridor update is broken

Summary

The latest update to Derelict Corridor (13th August 2025) causes the maps to not load at all.
I have removed local content, redownloaded and created project, on opening project there is no content in the map “DerelictCorridor” with the error in the outliner (The world contains invalid actor files. Click the Repair button to repair them.)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Epic Games Launcher to create the project for Derelict Corridor
  2. Open project
  3. Note there is nothing in the maps

Expected Result

The project opens as expected (like the pre-updated version)

Observed Result

The project opens, all maps are empty

Unreal Engine 5.6.1 on Windows 11

Previous version opened fine, it is only since the update on the 13th of August this has started happending

Thanks for confirming.
I thought I was going crazy LOL, worked perfectly before the update, the update seems to have completely broken it :frowning:

It has been fixed, so you will need to update the project from the launcher.

Thanks for having the team look into this.

I can confirm that this issue is now fixed, though, there seems to be something different from a render quality perspective to the old version. This version seems very noisey and just not quite right compared to the previous version when opened in 5.6.

Having said this, the problem I OP’d about is definintely fixed, and I’m sure the increase in perceived noise in the scene is due to a render setting somewhere from the updated project.

I’m sure I can find and fix that myself.
