I cannot get Quixel Bridge to export to 3dsmax 2023 anymore! Literally worked flawlessly YESTERDAY. Quixel.ms disappeared today after re-syncing new downloads on my local PC. Bridge shows and recognizes my downloaded assets, but no longer sends to 3dsmax. I get there are changes with moving to FAB, but this is truly GARBAGE changes when all the news announcements stated NOTHING would be sunset until after the first of the year 2025. So, why is bridge suddenly NOT sending exports to 3dsmax? NOTHING has changed at all on my PC. So WTF do I do? Am I supposed to manually bring everything in from now on? So sad that this debacle is what we are left dealing with, Epic Games/FAB. I guess we little guys don’t warrant any sort of a heads up, consideration, or, God forbid: a workaround/substitute/replacement.
Very agree! the original Bridge is very easy to use, and now the resources that are not obtained can only be downloaded through FAB, immediately imported into the resource library with Bridge, and can not be exported using bridge.
Welcome back to the dark ages. I’ve also experienced similar issues and had the not so pleasant task of manually importing the mesh, creating a material, connecting all the bitmaps in the right slots, figuring out the displacement,…
What Fab has done is basically set us back 5 years in terms of workflow and asset management. I think the Connector app from Designconnected might help solve a thing or two, but I’ll have to test it for myself.
AGREED! I just don’t get it. We used to go to Megascans, click the quality of the asset, click Download then Import. Now it’s all over the place. I can’t figure out how to search by ONLY Megascans assets. And when I FINALLY found an asset it asked me which “blah blah blah” I wanted to download, then downloaded a .zip file. Like what? What happened to downloading and importing it with a 1 button click?
I don’t get it. What is this company doing?
