Quixel Bridge low textures

Hello.
I have two questions about loading the Quixel Bridge textures.

When I open a project (dosen’t matter if it is the first time or not), the textures exported from Quixel won’t load properly. More exactly they are low quality (as in the image).
If i go to Megascans/Surfaces and press on every material folder, they will load, everything is fine.

  1. I want to know if there is a way to solve this by loading the textures automatically when I open the project.
  2. I am a begginer and I am testing a level for a game. And I am using the textures from Megascans (I don’t know if it is recommended or not  )
Meaning that i am opening the game, the “exe” file, I can’t go like in the Content Browser and load the textures. So if there is a way to question 1, to solve the loading problem, can it work in the game too?

Thank you and take care:)

first are you using unreal engine 5 or 4?

if you are using UE5.0+ follow these steps :

  1. make sure the quality preset is set to Maximum and not scalable.

  2. go to Project settings

3.go down to Platforms and click on Windows.

4.and finally make enable DirectX 12 if not by default.

Sorry i forgot to specify,
I am using Unreal 4.27

(Edit: I tried using the method for the UE5 on UE4 but still nothing)

Do the textures load in as higher resolution if you move the camera a little bit?

Yes, they are good if I do that

try these steps :
browse your assets textures, open the texture, find “virtual texture stream” option in Texture/Advanced and then turn it off.

if that don’t work try changing the streaming pool size to 8k.

  1. I don’t know if I went to the right place  , so I better posted a screenshot.
It was already turned off. I tried turned it on just to see if something happens but no, still the same thing (I did this for all three textures of that material).

  2. So i have to re-export the material from Quixel with 8K?
(And would’t that be too much?)

strange
then create a new project and try creating a new basic material by your self with the same textures, just to see if the problem come from the quixel’s material.

Alright I will try it:)
But i have a question. First of all I am a beginnerr so sorry if it is a stupid question.
If I create the material myself, will I have the options for tiling and rotatiting the texture? More exactly will I have this options to customize the texture?

clearly no, you need to create it your self, you can watch youtube tutorials to learn how to do it.
