Quixel Bridge Login Screen Crashing PC

Upon clicking “Account → Login” in UE5 Quixel Bridge, my PC freezes up and crashes…
No icons show on the login screen, but the window pops up before the freeze. No idea what could be causing this.

I’ve tried disabling variant textures, and have installed every web plugin in hopes that might solve it seeing advice on other threads… nope.

I’m on Linux, specifically Debian 12 Stable with XFCE.

Notably, Unreal Engine never generated a crash report…

Same problem here… with both the Quixel and the Fab plugin. As soon as I click on either plug ing I get a insta crash right after.

Caught signal 11 Segmentation fault

Anyone solved this?
I’m also on Debian and I suspect this is related to some SSL library or something like that?
