Quick way to change material color on existing UEFN asset

Hi all,

Is there a quick way to change the color on some of the existing UEFN assets? The prefabs seem to allow for it as they are color coded blue for example. How do I change a material instance to be red? I am familiar on how to do this with UE but not with the restrictions placed on UEFN.

Clicking on the static mesh component and opening the material selection panel to create an instance creates what looks like a different material as it doesnt contain the textures or settings of the original.

Pic is existing asset as an example. Lights can change but materials / textures not so that I could find.

Thank you.

No, not yet, most of them are locked. Creating a material instance on a locked one just creates a blank default.

Hi Hardcawcanary

I thought that may be the case. I have ended up spending a few hours replacing the same named components for their opposing colors side.

Thanks for the reply.
