Quick Link: Connect Devices Without Opening Menus

Inspired by how Patchwork connects devices, this idea adds a faster, more visual way to link devices in Fortnite Creative.

How it works:
The player equips a new tool (something like a “Link Tool”). They aim at a device, grab it, and drag a cable to another device. When the cable reaches the second device, a pop-up appears on the player’s screen showing the connection (for example, “Button > Accolade”) and listing all the Functions and Events that can be linked between those two devices, such as “Award When Receive From”, “Enable When Receive From”, or “Disable When Receive From”. The player picks an option and the connection is done instantly, without opening the device settings.

If the first device has more than one event (like “On Interact” and “On Disabled”), the pop-up could first ask which event to use, then show the functions of the second device.

This does not replace the current system.
Linking through the device settings panel would keep working exactly as it does today. This is an extra option for quick, everyday connections. Any link made with the cable would also show up in the device settings normally, so creators can still review or fine-tune everything there.

Why it helps:
Connecting nearby devices is one of the most repeated tasks in Creative. Right now, every link means opening a device, finding the right field, selecting a channel or device, and closing the menu, over and over. Dragging a cable makes this faster, more intuitive, and much friendlier for new creators, who can literally see what is connected to what.
