#15 Bulk Edit Assets
Did you know you can use the Property Matrix to edit multiple assets at the same time?
This is a tip I wish I had known about sooner in my early days of using Unreal. I think it’s something that everyone should know about as it can really help speed up repetitive tasks. It can be useful in all areas, be that setting a texture group in your textures, tweaking default values in blueprints or even bulk-adding attenuation assets to Sound Cues. Its also useful very for balancing as you can get an overview of your values next to each other, making them easier to compare (e.g. damage of different weapons)
It’s really simple to bring up as well: Select multiple assets, right-click on one of them and go Asset Actions, then click on Bulk Edit via Property Matrix. If you want to learn more about how it works then check out my links below:
