When I try to download UE4 it just says Download Queued and its been that way for 2hours…
I dont know what to do i tried closing and reopening, nothing.
DO I need to get the source files from GitHub first and then it will work?

Hi Rupy,
I’m not sure if this will help, but I wonder if perhaps the 4.1 version is downloading but you didn’t get a notification letting you know, if you haven’t done already, have a look in the drop down selection for engine versions to see if the other version in that list is downloading, which would explain why your download might say Queued.
If that doesn’t help at all, then could you please zip up your Logs folder and upload here for me to take a look at?
Thanks,
Leigh

Thank you it just took a long time for it to start. haha
how long did it take for u?
oh thats 3 years ago xD nvm
have the same problem tho
lol but try to change the version, if I remember correctly it took a solid 5 hours to get, but then again my internet was bad back then hope this helps, else look at the logs like @leighswift said.
i’m having the same thing except i’m trying to get unreal engine 4.20.2
Trying to install 4.22.3 (for an Unreal Course) and it’s stuck on queued for several minutes now.
[edit: it’s because it was auto-updating Fortnite. I had to cancel/pause that update for this to start]
This might help someone in the future but make sure to close any opened projects before asking the engine to download components.
