Should custom plants and trees be submitted in .srt or .uasset file format?
Would people like plant packs based off the environment (example: Tropical, Mountain, Desert plant packs), or would people like single plant packs like the speedtree ones?
If you want single plants, what types of plants would people like to see?
It depends on how much you intend to charge. If the price per species is low a pack will make sense. It will not matter that much if you do not intend to use everything in it. With a higher species price buying them separately is a better option. My entirely subjective recommendation is making each pack cost $10-15 and adjusting the amount of content to that price point.
(You currently need at least five assets sold together to get accepted, but I don’t know if different poly counts and such counts as separate assets.)
Speedtrees should be submitted in .srt in my opinion, considering how import settings allow more flexibility.

For single species pack I would make 2 Hero, 2 Desktop, and 2 Mobile versions at least. The pack would also contain the .spm, so anybody who has speedtree will be able to edit the asset.
man def would buy some tropical plant packs (ferns, palms, banana trees, etc)
