I work for a engineering & architecture consultant company, and we recently created an org. here at the developer portal. This is due to the fact that we are planning to buy license seats soon so we can use UE 5.4 and up.
First off I have to apologize of this information is located somewhere, but I have done my best to try to find it.
I was wondering how the seat allocation works within the org. page. If I buy 4 seats but have 8 team members, but only 3 of them work daily with Unreal Engine. the last one is doing QC and testing. And sometimes we rely on other team members to support. Am I able to allocate the seat to other members as we see fit, if the third or fourth user is not available or using their seat/license? Or is there any connection between the team member email and the allocated seat that make it difficult to change the allocation at will? I saw in the FAQ that it is possible to allocate the seat to other people in the company but I was just curious to hear peoples experiences regarding this.
