Questions regarding Alembic Hair Grooms

Is it possible to generate the curves for the hair groom asset from Unreal at runtime?

Is it possible to adjust the length of different parts of the hair without splitting it into parts? I.e. paint a texture on a character’s head that scales the hair strands that start there.

The tips of the hair look noisy. Are there any rendering settings I can tweak to make it look more solid?
