Hello! I’m selling prop packs for Unreal Engine. I’m individual and i don’t have any business or company registered.
I have to select trader or non-trader option until January 1st or my account will be removed.
I tried to go trader route by selecting “i am a trader”, but i have to provide Business ID and i don’t know what this is.
So, the question is, what will happen to my seller account if i will choose non-trader option, except showing information om my page that i’m not a verified trader?
If this is your primary business and you intent to sell often digital product, you will want to be as a Trader otherwise Non-Trader.
I would recommend that you get a business id (useful for filling tax as well).
But it very close to january, double check that the administration process is not long in your country.
When you are non-trader, the tick icon won’t be shown, only these text will be shown when you navigate to the About page of the seller.

What is Business ID? Is this EIN?
How often i have to sell my prop packs to be considered as a trader? Is there any information about that.
Will i able to sell my prop packs as non-trader?

The business id will have different exact terms depending on the country. When you register as sole proprietor/individual business, you will receive a unique id related to your business. This will include your business name, id, address, business nature, and this is needed to be provided as proof when you register as a Trader.
In some countries, you are even exempted from tax until you reach certain amount of turnover so it worth taking a look at the advantage provided by your country.
How often i have to sell my prop packs to be considered as a trader?
There no exact definition for that sadly. But if fab is not your main business, it should be ok.

Also i want to add some information, which i received from FAB support, if anyone interested about Business ID:
- A business ID is only used for a Business Registration Number. Choose individual for normal purposes.
So i understood it like this: in my case i can choose Individual instead of Business verification route where i don’t need a Business ID.

Yes that didnt cross my mind, there an option to choose Individual where business id is not needed, and you will need a proof document of your address and name i believe.
