Hello,
I have a bunch of animations that in theory should be able to be used with root motion (they are in place, they have a root at the ground) but when I activate root motion and in the event graph from the animation blueprint I select Root Motion from Everything, the character just stays in place, like tweaking.
Also, It seems that when I look downwards with root motion enabled, the character runs slower than when I’m looking at the front. I don’t know if it’s a visual effect, but it seems like it is running differently.
Finally, when I tap WASD very quickly (small increase in input) with either root motion or without, the character snaps in the animation position, but let’s say I press A and D one after the other, the character snaps from going left to going right. How could I make it so that this does not happen?
