Question regarding Geo Referencing

Hi all, 

I do not have access to a surveyor or high resolution geomapping technology. I have read the GCP tutorial but I don’t have access to that technology. I am using a DJI drone and ground based photos - is there any way to extract GPS etc. from those devices sufficient for the competition?

Well DJI drones, should have the GPS information which leads to geo-referencing, but regarding the accuracy you would have to read the documentation of your exact model. That applies to the RC model too as you work in real world scale.
