Hi guys. I’ve been trying desperately to figure out how gather all of the Crowd models and set a collision to all of them so a condition will occur upon colliding with one of the actors the player collides with. I basically want the same condition to occur upon collision between any of City Sample AI’s walking around, let’s say, for example. I’d like to restart the level or play a sound upon touching any of the figures with my newest imported MetaHuman player which is based on the “ABP_Quinn_C” class btw. I’ve essentially included a Mannequin to successfully import my MetaHuman figure. Worked fantastically too, I’m working on my dream game engine with my RTX 3080, but I seriously need to learn & understand this logic, because I’ve re-written the blueprint to this simple algorithm like over fifty different ways and I can never understand why it doesn’t work… I’m super frustrated… Please, anyone with a decent understanding of Unreal and City Sample Crowds! I can seriously use your help please… Thank you!
Aside from that, Unreal, keep doing what you’re doing because your software is fantastic! It blows my mind every-single-time I launch it and when I’ve downloaded City Sample. I was speechless… I can’t believe you guys built this and released it to the public to utilize! You’ve granted the world so much power with your game engine. And and every-human on this planet appreciates that. And all of you answering everyone’s questions are the secondary greatest heros ever! I love you all by the way. Just had to say it, sorry, I’m a tad autistic, which is why I’m quite awkward. Not even joking diagnosed at an early age But, it always makes me feel great to express my feelings toward people… Especially all of the developers that enable this amazing software to continue growing.
Keep coding guys. I hope to hear and answer to my question very soon and perhaps or maybe even some guidance on how to debug these perplexing problems I encounter with the blueprints.
