Hi! I’ve tried to post a question on the AnserHub but its stuck on a message that says “The question is waiting approval by a moderator.”
Is this normal? How long does it take usually?

Up to a day is fairly normal - once you’ve posted once or twice questions will no longer go into the moderation queue.
