Question for Sequencer Cinematics and Player Character

If you made GTA V in unreal 4, and your game lets you customize your character to have differing clothing choices, how would you make cutscenes in sequencer so that your character’s looks will remain dynamic even in cutscenes?

Sequencer can either spawn new actors or posess existing actors in the scene.

So you can posess the existing character wit hthe correct clothing

2 questions.

  1. when you say character with the correct clothing, you mean the player character whos appearance is dynamic, right?

  2. How would you make sure that your character syncs up with the other actors in a cinematic? When you place spawnables, you can place them where you need to so that they sync with the environment and other actors, but a dynamic player character? How can you make sure they sync?
