I’m new here. I’ve got a few questions about creating maps and making money.
I’ve heard there are two ways to create maps: one using Unreal Engine, and the other using the game’s Creative Mode. If I use the game’s creative mode, can I publish the map so others can play it, and can I make money from a map created in the game? Do I need to create it in Unreal Engine to make money? I’ve heard you can earn hundreds of millions – could you also tell me how to encourage users to play on my maps and how to get in touch with other creators?

There is a distinction between Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
UEFN is very similar to using UE though.
If you enroll as a creator. You could create and publish islands with UEFN or the built-in Creative tools. (Or a mix of both tools at the same time)

Getting players is a huge topic onto itself - The best option here is to already have a huge following on another platform 
These Forums and the Creative Discord seem to be the best place for finding other creators. There’s a lot of creators posting on Twitter as well.
