When creating sockets for attachment, does it matter which bone in the hierarchy the socket is placed on so long as it not one which will explicitly move in an unintended way? For example, I want to add a socket for muzzle flash/smoke to this gun. The socket is called “gun muzzle socket”. I obviously can’t attach this to the magazine bone since the muzzle flash/smoke would move with the magazine during reload, but does it make a difference if I connect it to the “grip bone” or the full armature “thomson_Skeleton_grip”? Visually it doesn’t make a difference of course, but since I am planning to add a lot of these sockets, I just want to make sure one isn’t more efficient for some reason.
