Question about Meshes and animation.

I have completed this tutorial for the 3rd Person Game and now I have a question for anyone that might have completed it as well.

How do you go about using the Maximo free character models with this?

I have tried to switch the mesh within the CharacterAnimBP and have managed to make it showup but then its stuck in its T-pose with no animations. I thought it would be simple enough to swap out the meshes. Why does the skeleton work? Or is it even that? I’d love some advice so I can get this straight in my head.


-you could also use the character and animation bp from the maximo package -> just add the right character bp in the gamemode
