Why does everytime I duplicate a mesh it auto adds it to my sequence and places it at a random point in the level.
Hey @sybext100! Welcome to the forums!
That’s pretty odd. How are you duplicating your static mesh? Ctrl-D or a different method? Is it already open? And do you have your sequencer open?
Any additional specifics you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!
Hey, I’m doing ctrl + D. It automatically places it at a specific location other then on top of the original mesh. Also adds it to sequencer on some meshes but not all. Sequencer open or closed does the same thing.
Bump
Hey @sybext100!
That is some off behavior. Do you get the same result when you copy paste? (Ctrl + C → Ctrl + V)
I get a message that says. Attending to paste a binding that is already bound. Should the existing actor be duplicated for the pasted binding?
If I hit no it doesn’t duplicate. If I hit yes it adds it automatically to my sequencer which I don’t want.
Try; hold Alt key and drag the gizmo from the mesh. This should duplicate mesh and should not add to your sequence.
