I’m an Italian developer and I noticed Italy is listed among Restricted Jurisdictions in the MegaJam rules. I understand this is usually because of the PREMA / DPR 430/2001 requirements in Italy. Could you confirm whether Epic would accept submissions from Italian residents if Epic were to complete the required MISE filings (or provide an alternative legal route)? If not, is there an official recommended workaround (e.g., submitting through a team member resident in an eligible country)? Thanks — I’d love to participate legally (And have the possibility to win rewards).
Where did you this information? I were looking for this too, but didnt find anything.
There’s a section in the ‘Official Rules’ doc that states
"…WHERE REGISTRATION, FILING OR NOTICE REQUIREMENTS
MAY EXIST (WHICH INCLUDES BRAZIL AND ITALY)”
The solution might be to find a friend/team member in another country, and live with them until the prizes are shipped.
Easier said than done, but that was my only idea too.
