When I combined the laser scan data with the photo to generate a texture, the indoor material became mixed with the outdoor garden photo, as shown in the attached image.
I am investigating various causes, but have not been able to determine the cause at this time.
If anyone is familiar with these issues, I would appreciate your advice.
Hello iz_sales,
you can use masks on the outside images for texturing, but the masks need to be added as an alpha channel on the images.
Are your scans also textured? In most cases the images are used for texturing and scans for meshing.
I would like to ask one more point. When generating textures, does the location or depth information of the point cloud affect the position information when generating textures?
Basically, if there are no windows, open doors, etc., I think there is no problem, but I am thinking that such areas may be affected if I anticipate the cause of this issue.
Hi,
I am not sure what you are asking. Can you rephrase your question?
It is not possible to texture the point cloud, only mesh. What kind of point cloud do you mean?
