Question about audio quality level in GameUserSettings.ini

This is inside the ini file that’s under Saved\Config folder inside your project’s directory. It’s the same ini file that also has resolution and fullscreen settings for your game.

But my question is what’s the range of numbers that can go into the audio quality level? What’s minimum and what’s maximum?

Hi WereSalamander,

This is covered in the Release Notes for 4.9 here: What's New | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation

You can scroll down to the section “Sound Quality Levels”.

Thank you!

Tim

i need that tutorial too???!?!

So instead of answering the question with the scalability reference, you give a link to a page that redirects to the top of a different page that doesn’t answer the question, so anyone that comes here that needs basic documentation can’t find it. Congratulations.

The answer: There isn’t a fixed level, the engine defaults to 0, and you have to explicitly configure the max channels and etc in the config, then address that value in your settings.
