I’m going through the Quartz Music System tutorials & have encountered several issues.

One is, the bar count starts one beat late in all of the BP’s I have created. (Beat 1 shows as beat 2).

Two is the topic: ‘Setting Up a Transitional Music System’. I enter the key presses as shown in the video but they have no effect when I place the BP in the Viewport. I connected a Print String to the Key Presses … and sure enough, they are not being recognized during Play. Other BP’s in the tutorial series using key presses work fine. What is it about this one that’s causing this issue?

Upon further review (A/B) my follow along BP vs the instructor’s included one, I discovered a left-over ‘Start Clock’ node at the end of the Quart Set Up code. Must have been from the various looping scenarios that were covered.
