Quading a Triangulated Surface

Greetings, currently working on some research around quading a triangulated complex surface; any suggestions in available plugins, programs, and/or scripts is appreciated to look into. Currently have been testing Cinema 4d Untriangulate, Modo’s Detriangulate, and Zbrush’s Zremesher after applying some Datasmith conversions. Currently Modo is taking the lead but, still far from something reasonable to use in a production setting.

3ds Max has an option for that as well

Blender also has such a tool, but I don’t know about the quality.
