Using windows 10
UI + button issues, some gets “fixed” by putting the window in fullscreen and then able to go back down again to window mode. To sometimes the launcher options at the taskbar can be broken buttons too, if that is also UI related.
sometimes games get stuck in “need to download” even if there is no update, 50/50 chance of fixing by restarting the launcher. it seems like putting a shortcut on the desktop can sometimes go around this. So why is there not an own button to “force start game” in the (…) option menu and so much less relevant content taking so much space in that menu.
Why is the download manager locked to be such a big window box? like it would even fit as being docked to the launcher’s bottom window? if that were an option.
If one could adjust icon/game sizes, as some UI boxes take up a lot of space, like its made to only play fortnite with this launcher or 1-5 games.
the top elements in the store take too much space to be the “front page”, if you can’t at least see the store, why use it? fine enough with “banner ads”, just have to adjust it a bit. one positive is the rows on the store page, that one can see a bit better compared to some rows on steam. Do wish the discover and browse tabs got a bit more love too or connect a bit more with the side tabs, as they are kind of “hidden-ish” at the top.
then with the new messaging service, it would be nice if one updated how the notifications will be had, or what icons to show next to the social’s icon/button. be it (!) or numbers below, different color, etc. Just not everything being bundled together.
had more issues with the launcher, but forgotten some or some may have been fixed since.
