QTE combo animation and movement in UE4

Hi all!

Maybe we have more luck on the unreal forums! Our problem is basicly but for those who are scared to click links:

  • We want to recreate an existing mechanic from the game legend of dragoon called additions (QTEs)
  • Wa are a bit stuck on how to approach this (how do we connect the combo to the animation and how do get the overlay of the square filling animation)? What is the state of the art approach?
