Hi everyone,
I am trying to make an UE5 based QR code scanner for Android (part of a scanning tool) and I followed this video for the basic setup.
By I just can’t figure out how to view my camera in the UE5 application. I also bought the course, but it does not contain information on what to do in Unreal to get this working.
If I understand correctly, then this method only works in augmented reality headsets like Hololens. In ios i used native function, in Android, i think, you can also use native function via java.
Hey! The Blueprint app might be worth checking out if you’re looking for a QR code scanner for your Android device. I’ve heard good things about it.
If you’re looking for more advanced scanning capabilities, you may want to consider using Smart Engines, an image-processing software company. They offer robust QR code scanning technology that can be integrated into various apps and devices.
Remember, when choosing a QR code scanner, make sure it fits your needs and is reliable. The last thing you want is to scan a code and have it not work properly. Good luck with your search!
