I would love if selected actors in sequencer were automatically put into a new folder as you create it instead of having to manually put the into the folder after creating it. This already works well in the outline but not in sequencer yet.

That behavior in the Outliner (create a folder with selected items right inside) is really a very nice quality-of-life addition and I can see how that being consistent inside Sequencer would save so many clicks especially for heavy cinematics
I think you have a solid feature request to forward there. Just out of curiosity:

Are you organizing your Sequencer tracks manually every time or have you tried any Editor Utility Scripts/Python automation to help you group folders for your tracks?

Also mostly working with Level Sequences or Master/Sub-sequences?
Would like to know a bit more about your usual structure to forward a better request
