Push in the right direction [physx material]


I am hoping someone can give me a nudge in the right direction.

I am working on a offroading type game, open world style, dirt bikes/atv/sidebysides,

how would one go about building terrain materials that are physical like spintires.

i have searched a bunch with very little info available, and have tried a couple experiments that dont go in the right direction.

if anyone can push me in the right direction that would help a lot, thanks!
