What is the difference between this and the cinecamera already available in the engine?
Because expect adding ui to control it and the fact its attached to a pawn that can move i dont get it.
Maybe im wrong but to me it look like its something we already have in UE.
The Cine Cam does more than just add a UI - it introduces a complete suite of tools and settings that give users much more control over their shots. It allows you to create smooth, cinematic camera movements in real time without needing to set up complex animations or camera rails.
In addition to that, it includes advanced features like multiple focus modes, orbit control, and lock-on targeting. These tools make it not only ideal for recording dynamic trailers and videos but also powerful enough to be integrated directly into gameplay, for example, as a spectator or killcam.
Compared to the standard CineCamera in UE, this system offers far greater flexibility and usability, especially for users looking for real-time control and high-quality results.
I can’t get the “lock on target” effect or orbit mode. When I enter “Point” mode and select a point with the MMB nothing seems to change (apart from updating the crosshair). Maybe I misunderstood the lock on feature. After locking a position is it intended that any camera movement uses that point as the center of observation? If so, I can’t get the effect because if I proceed forward the view doesn’t lock. Probably I’m using it wrong.
