Hi All.

Arch viz guy here trying to import a datasmith model from revit into UE 5.3…I am simply doing what the help page say to do, but the freeeeeeking import option simply isn’t there on my install. It’s sh&**&^T like this that makes me want to just go back to TW, but I really wish to learn UE>>>> The image on the right is my screenshot, not showing the drop-down, as depicted on Epic’s help page, on the left.

Please see the screenshot, I only want to import a DS file, but UE’s help file is so lame, and the prog so complex, I know the gizmo is buried somewhere in this wonderful monstrosity. Please help, Epic has an outdated help file…I’m going to give up before I’ve even started, again…

Did you enable the Datasmith Importer plugin?
