Hi folks,
I uploaded some course videos I created, there are free and more content is on its way. They do not include ads, nor do they promote anything else than Unreal Engine 5 itself (if at all).
I wanted to make this available for you here in the forum as a community tutorial, but it keeps getting rejected.
I tried to paste as an external source providing the youtube link and also tried to embed the youtube video. Both of them got rejected. I asked for the explicit reason, and I did not hear back. The review process was quite short (less than half a day) however this kind of review is not helpful at all. People from this community try to collaborate and support, so I think we can expect at least a more thorough explanation than an automatic message like “You didn’t follow the guidelines”.
Definitely I checked upon these guidelines: Specifically saying “No advertisements for paid contents or services”, I saw some content in this forum violating this rule and still get accepted. I dont mind them, but I have to know what leads to rejection of my content because I do not see any rules violated with my educational content. Then I thought maybe my content is violating “It should be content that provides value to other developers to learn from.”? But this is very vague, any reviewer could just claim that a content to be useful/not useful, still if that is the case, kindly let me know with some specifics so we, educators, can improve and better support the community!
For reference this is one video I tried to publish as community tutorial. I appreciate all feedback!
