I keep getting rejected on publishing. It says the reason is 1.18 (the IARC rating) I only have items from the fortnite content drawer in the map except for a couple of billboards with an explanation of the game rules and feedback contact (tweet: @*********)
I thought it may be because I answered no to everything, so I went back and resubmitted with the cartoon violence and it was rejected again, I then tried again with just answering yes to the voice communcation section in the miscellaneous so it had the online interactivity tag and it’s failed again.

We noticed an issue that needs your attention, and this public release has been rejected.
Please address the following issues, and then publish a new release using the Creator Portal:
1.18 Island Content Disclosures - When submitting your IARC Age Rating Questionnaire, you are required to accurately disclose relevant content within your Island in order to receive age appropriate ratings. Inaccurate questionnaire responses may result in your content being rejected, and repeated violations risks further action, including potentially having your monetization and publishing privileges suspended or permanently revoked.
If the content within your creative island is NOT listed below, this release is blocked because images and text used to promote your experience must be appropriate for a general audience (e.g. content that would merit a rating of ESRB Everyone 10+, or lower).

Additional Notes
At this point I don’t know what to do, don’t want to get banned over something as stupid as an incorrect setting but I can’t see anything that would be wrong with it. It’s a very simple map.
Just to check, did you answer the multiplayer related questions with these answers? (“Fortnite-Wide Standards for Interactive Elements” section of that doc)
If you think that’s all good to go, I’d change up the feedback contact you mentioned. (Maybe it violates rule 1.2? “You may include your social media handles/channels as long as they don’t include a URL or QR code or a request for direct or private messages”)
It sounds like you’re experiencing repeated rejections on publishing your map due to issues with the IARC Age Rating Questionnaire. Despite adjusting settings like cartoon violence and voice communication, you’re still facing rejection. Have you considered reaching out to Fortnite’s support team for more specific guidance on resolving this issue? It could help clarify any discrepancies and ensure your map meets the necessary requirements for publishing.
Thanks astrotonic much better then the one I came across, I was getting rejected for the close up violence question in the end I’m pretty sure. So touchy though I had to jig the settings to get it to Teen rating instead of restricting down too 2 countries. Its definitely one of those things where once you know you know but going through all the examples the IARC provide most things easily fall under a few different ones hard to work out from a perspective of someone just coming into it what to choose. Would have been great to have a standard list for a pvp shooting map right on that page with a disclaimer about additional content.
It would definitely be great to have some additional feedback as to what content is failing the rating. Initially I didn’t read the ratings closely enough and was denied; so tried again and really gave it a thorough look-over and realized that my game did have violence, so I tried again, with the same rejection notice : “The content in your island.” It’s really not helpful at all to have to wonder, “what did I get wrong?” If it is apparent that there is something that I got wrong, please just make me aware of it, instead of sending me yet again to upload a new private version of my island, run a memory calculation, and prepare an entire new publish request. I have already had 3 fails, and so with this last one, since I have no idea what could be holding my island up, I rated my island for things like realistic violence and gambling related themes since I have vending machines in groups. Now a game that is surely a safe game for teens is being rated mature in 2 countries, and for what reason I really don’t know - and being left to wonder, guess, and repeat this process is quite upsetting. I don’t mind rating it appropriately at all and I’m not trying to pull a fast one here, just think some additional guidance could really help this process a lot when it comes to this 1.18 issue
