Testing your software.

I have a collection of laser scans in the .pts format. I’m unable to see the files through the import menu.

In the tutorial you import a .ptx file. Is this the only format supported?

When I attempt to import the scan as in the tutorial I get a standard windows explorer import window. Not the UI used in the video. Did I miss something?

Dear Cedar,
we are sorry but currently we can import only .PTX format.
You are right regarding the tutorial, we have slightly changed the UI based on users comments. We will update tutorials soon.

To import laser scan you

  1. either click “Laser Scan” button in WORKFLOW tab,
  2. or d&d .PTX file to the app.

Then the import dialog shows up.

No longer just PTX, the E57 was introduced to RC on 11 April this year: Version 1.0.2.1976 RC release
