Pseudo realistic sand accumulation material tutorial

Thought I will share my tutorial about sand accumulation material. The presented method provides cool way how to improve landscape painting with procedural approach. With some modification you think i can use it to snow accumulation effect? It would be awesome.

Snow behaves quite differently as it’s sticky and accumulates on surfaces facing wind. You could modify this material to achieve desired result quite easily.
Back in a day I made in UDK a snow material that accumulates on objects. At some point I might port it into UE4 :slight_smile:
