Protofactor Assets

Are any of you using Protofactor assets? I just downloaded my first one from the marketplace (Skeleton Knight) and am working on setting up the animations. They included a set of good animation sequences, but no blueprints for UE4.

When importing assets with only animation sequences, is there a best practice for how to get them set up in UE4? I’ve been reading the documentation for animation blueprints, and have played with triggering the animations from behavior tree tasks, etc, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed.

I guess my biggest question is - is there something people usually use as a base for setting up the basic animations or do you start from scratch every time you import a new asset?
