I am trying to create a project by using a sample as my base. I click create project and it automatically selects a location in my C drive documents. I try to change the location because my C drive does not have room but it ignores that I chose a new location and moves to my C drive regardless. Epic and Unreal and both in my S drive. Nothing to do with the C drive, I even tried moving the documents folder but it still wants to make projects in my C drive. How can I prevent this and save to a different folder? I am surprised that this is still a problem 9 years later. Does anyone have a solution to this for 5.3?

When you are setting your new file location, are you specificall setting your location with the file icon? So far I can not replicate your issue. Would you mind walking us through your steps?
