I have another question again.
I recently came across the making-of video for Jay-Z’s album - Blueprint 3, and I was truly amazed that they created that effect manually.
Afterwards, I couldn’t help but think that in Unreal, you could easily achieve this with decals. I’m currently considering projecting an image onto the facade of a building in a way that it only becomes clear when viewed frontally (like an optical or perspective puzzle).
My initial approach would probably involve duplicating many decals in their original size and placing them at different distances from the object. However, just thinking about it, it doesn’t seem to work quite well yet.
The other approach might be through a different type of projection?! I will try it out in the coming days, but I would greatly appreciate any input. (I hope I expressed myself clearly enough ^^)
