Projected Character path arrow?

Hey everyone!

I want to set up a system where when telling a character(such as the TopDown Character in the example templates) to move to a position, it shows an arrow that the character will follow, then the character follows the path until getting to the appropriate destination.

I basically have no idea how to go about doing this. Can anyone help provide direction?

theres a function to get the path to a point, i forget what its called exactly but if you search path in the context menu i should show up, then using the path points create a spline or for debug purpose drawn debug lines
