Project will not load when DBuffer enabled

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could help me with a problem please?

If I enable DBuffer in the render settings, the project fails to load.

I get to the project load screen and then it hangs at 45%. In the task manager it shows the editor using a lot of memory, along with ‘Shader compiler’. I left it for a couple of hours and nothing happened.

As soon as I go in to the DefaultEngine file and change DBuffer back to false, the project loads fine again. I’ve attached an image of Task manager and a text file with my project settings.

Windows 10 64bit | 8GB RAM | Intel Core 2 2.4GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Original reason for changing: I was having problems with decals appearing translucent and advised to enable DBuffer

I’m getting the exact same problem, hanging at 45%

I can only add this is running 4.10.1

Any fix for this I have this problem now ?

Just wait, when the engine hangs at 45% it means its compiling Vertex Factory shaders and can take some time to do so

Exect same issue here.
