Hello everyone,
Im trying to setup a car using defaut Sedan blueprints but i get a problem when i use the sedan BP with another car skeleton mesh.
I think i have setup correctly the physics assets (see picture 1) but the car “roll” like if the collision of him where a sphere.
I think the problem is because of a greeen circle found in the BP (see the 2nd picture) but i don’t have any idea of how to remove it.
Did someone know a fix for that or can help me with this?
When i start playing the car roll like if the collisons where a sphere .
I have found a green circle in the BP i think that the reason of my problem here it is:
You dont need to remove green sphere…I’m not an expert but …maybe will help to check some things e.g… it is evident from screenshot that your skeletal mesh is too small, you need to scale it up in modeling software before you import model in to UE4…it is evident from the fact that mass in kg of your car body is 0.016 KG…try to use the real world scales and you’ll be fine
Miro is right. Weight is microscopic. But just to clarify, is the vehicle being propelled while its in the air or is it just constantly leaving the ground over and over?
yep Miro is right i think on the scale side, also remember with vehicles the axis X=Forward Z=Up , if you don’t then your going to have lots of problems
the root bone of your skeletal rig MUST be at 0,0,0
