On my PC my projects is using 7 gigs of ram but on my laptop its only using 2 gigs. What would cause this? This is at start up so not a mem leak. Any ideas?
hmm. i think the laptop has 8gb and my PC has 16. So i guess that could be it, i just know im capping at really high memory usage ever since moving to 4.18. Its causing my PC to run so slow, and the project runs fine on my laptop.
How much RAM does you have in you PC vs your laptop?
If more RAM is available, more will get used - it doesn’t mean there’s a memory leak. If it were a leak, useage would keep increasing until a crash occurred.
