Project save Failed and Not opening

Hi,

I’m testing Reality Capture 1.1v on a free license and it works great.

But there is a problem when i save the project after finishing the work.

  1. if I press the ‘Save Project’ button on the menu and save it, ‘Save Failure’ messages pops up and empty folder & 1kb .rcproj.new files are created.

2. When I saving a project by pressing the exit button, the program turns off immediately without saving it.

Of course, it’s empty when I try to open a project.

I could check this problem on both my desktop computer and laptop.

Is free license the cause?

Please tell me how to solve this problem.

Hi,

you should be able to save on the free license. Please can you confirm if you are getting the issue on both your laptop and your desktop?

Hi, 375240618100

Yes, this issue still occurs on my desktop and laptop.

I installed the program on windows 10 O/S.

Do I have to reinstall the program?

Hi 나루돌로,

It’s not clear yet what the issue is. This is very unusual. Please can you share some more details about your project and workflow? Perhaps a screenshot of your project structure in the 1Ds before trying to save. Which version of windows 10? and are you trying to save to an internal or external drive?

This is my laptop info:

Windows 10 Pro 20H2 Version

Intel(R) Core™ i7-10870H CPU

Gigabyte Aero 15 Model

I bought this laptop just a week ago so i don’t think it’s a hardware problem.

And even though I tried to reinstall the program twice, the same problem still occurs.

I have no idea…

My Reality Capture language Settings is Korean and it might be the cause.

Here is my workflow

  1. I downloaded CLI sample Script data named ‘CalculateTextured3DModel’

  2. Import image and open the project menu, Click save project.

  3. I’m trying to save to an internal my C drive - documents path and i only using English file path and name.

  4. The same problem occurs no matter what image file i tried.

Hi,

I think perhaps this could be an issue with the language. Possibly because of the path to the images.

Well… I changed language settings to English and image folder path but it’s still not working.

There’s nothing more I can do about this issue.

Please take a closer look at this issue and let me know if there is a solution.

Hi,

please try to change the app language to English (not default), and let me know if you are still getting the same problem. Also please copy the path to the images in file explorer and paste it here so we can try.

I already changed language to English and it’s not working :frowning:

Look at the comments i left just before.

My image folder path: D/Images.
