Hello
I’m using RC for a project and I would like to ask if is possible to import my clean 3D Model with a new UV set and Texture it?
The model is been export to ZBrush then Clean then retopology then UV ing then back to RC.
Can we bake the photos has been used to create the 3d model in RC into the new UV set in my new 3D clean model?
Thanks
Hi Alonso
Yes, it is possible and it works flawlessly…
How would you go about doing this?
Add photos for initial build, retopo, UV and them import mesh again in RC and then just hit the texture button ?
I’d be interested to know this as well…

Yes, that simple way… just export out clean, make UVs, import back and hit TXTR…
How do you import the new model?
It seems to be from Reconstruction>Import Model.
I’ve done this and clicked Texture again after importing the retopologized/UV unwrapped model, and it worked great. I still have only the point cloud visible since RC can’t show a solid model yet in the viewport, but I exported the model and its new texture and everything looks fine.

That is correct.
However, I recommend you to see the Model Import tutorial in the Help section of the software. We are looking forward to your feedback.
