Hello everybody!
Hope you got good into 2019. First of all I would like to thank everybody who supported us over the last year. We are very happy about the
last year and all the content we created and looking forward to the next year of asset productions!
In this post I would like to give you a small teaser of our upcoming updates and projects.
**Upcoming Updates:
custom wind system**
Using the Pivot painter lets you realize a realistic wind animation, but it is definitely not user friendly. We wanted to change that
and give you the opportunity to easily change wind parameters for all vegetation in your game in realtime.
Now you can create your own environment and with only a few parameters you can change the wind animation of all plants at once.
This will be implemented in all our vegetation assets very soon!
new interaction system
The current implementation of the interaction between your character and the vegetation is based on singleplayer.
We will work on a network replicated method!
For a more accurate interaction we will use the pivot painter tool to have a realistic interaction even for large plants.
pending updates
Here a small list of features we will try to cover in the next time:
- pre made “landscape type grass”
- texture based color variations and sizes for a more realistic placement of grass instances
- much more!
**Upcoming Assets:
bamboo**
After releasing the current “giant reed” asset with the name “bamboo” I could not get some rest till I finally found some scans
of real bamboo on my last trip to India. Now my soul is blessed again. This asset will be submitted in the next weeks.

A big asset with a good interaction.
trees
During the summer we scanned bark and leavs of over 20 different kinds of trees. The next half year we will focus on packing
them all into assets. Here the basic features of each planed asset:
- fully pivot painted animation (every leaf/leafcluster/branch) has it’s own animation
- different bark/leaf materials for seasons like spring/autumn
- about 6-10 unique trees
- high optimization
- impostor and/or billboard support
Here a small list of the trees we plan to release: bamboo, apple, birch, beech, oak, ash, hazelnut,
chestnut, cherry, poplar, different maple kinds, walnut, willow, pine, spruce, fir, larch, eucalyptus, palm, banana
and many more!
There will be collections of multiple trees like “conifer forest” or “fruit trees” like in our other products.

These collections will include vegetation from grasses to trees for the following areas:
**tropical **and **jungle **vegetation
