I have seen several solutions telling me to delete folders, to migrate the project, to delete cache, to disable live coding and i have done all of that but it doesnt work and basically everything i have worked so far is lost.
Those errors mainly meant file corruption. It may cause by the incomplete compilation process, or simply just file corruption due to memory or some sort.
The way I solve it is to close the engine completely and delete those affected files manually.
Then copy back that deleted files from your backup directory.
This happens to me along with his problem. I cannot find a solution. I haven’t been able to even make a BP because they refuse to save. This happens on both my desktop and laptop. Can anyone help. To me this is ridiculous. How can it not even save one blueprint? I am not even tinkering with anything just trying to follow tutorial videos and can’t even start because Unreal won’t work…
So this happened because I was not hard compiling (build solution) then open unreal. I was just saving or running. I got super confused because the tutorial I was following did not address live coding and I got caught up trying to figure out how to get around that and was not building and then opening unreal to see the change.
