First, thanks to the folks at Epic. The Unreal package is very tight, well thought-out, well documented and stable.
This is start of an unrealistically ambitious 3rd-person action/adventure game I’ve been noodling on in my precious spare hours. It’s been a ton of fun.
This movie is a little long and self-indulgent, but if you choose to stick with it, there are one or two things you won’t see in every game.
The movie covers:
- Intro matinee and game menu
- New game movie
- Stealth/Take downs
- Combat/Basic AI
- Cover
- Spatially transformed level layouts
- Hacking game
- Misc game mechanics

I suspect in another 6 months I can smooth out the current mechanics and add enough other mechanics to fill out a game… as for all of the level design, artwork, movies, puzzle scripting, script-writing, foley work, voice acting needed… well… let’s be realistic… I should have started with a simpler project
