Project crashs on other PC

my project works fine on my laptop (the one I started and developed my project with). But doesn’t workon my new PC. All blueprints and character models with high detailed materials will crash the eigine. But the same files works perfectly on my old laptop.

Been searching for a sulotion online for weeks now, still no progress.

Need help ASAP.

Here are specs of my PCs:

-old laptop: Msi ge73vr 7rf raider

Windows 10
Intel Core i7-7700HQ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070

-new PC:

Motherboard : ASUS ROG Strix B660-A Gaming WIFI DDR4, S. 1700
Windows 11
Intel Core i7-12700K 8x 3.60 GHZ
32 GB DDR4-3200
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 8GB

What does the crashlog say?
Tried to verify the engine?
Installed latest drivers?

I found the issue and a temporary sulotion for now.
It has something to do with caches that ue4 created for this project, which is located in the C-drive. So it works almost fine after I transferred them to my new pc.

However if the username of new pc doesn’t match the old one it will still have some problems for example you can’t build light for maps.

So somehow ue4 doesn’t change the path and/or create new caches for the project when move to a new pc. Maybe there is a way to do it manually. Does someone now how to ?

just be sure to have the latest driver update

you could also delete the intermediate, build and save folder of your project to refresh it with the new one on your new computer
